DeskTopTV
A QuickTime Video monitor/digitizer/subtitle maker.
• Save setting in setting document.
This allow you to switch to a preset window location/dimension by launching a setting document.
•VIDEO (For AV Macintish Only)
•Video input signal became live DeskTop pattern (DeskTop Mode).
•Superimpose graphics from any other application on top of the video with choice of "Transparent Color". (Superimpose only work in 256 color mode or below).

For video subtitling

For video recording
1) Choose Record Video/Record Sound/Record MIDI to indicate what you want to record. You can chose more than one.
2) Set the related settings to whatever you want.
3) Choose New Movie to specify the movie file to record to. (This also put DesktopTV in standby mode. You cannot change any setting.)
4) When you are ready. Choose Start Recording.
5) When you are finish. Choose Stop Recording.
6) Choose Close Movie.
7) You can now use DesktopMovie or Apple's MoviePlayer to play the movie.

A much faster splash screen with a thank you note.
What is MovieTrilogy ?
MovieTrilogy is a trilogy in four parts consist of 5 QuickTime applications.
DeskTopTV is a QuickTime Video monitor/digitizer/subtitle maker. for AV class Macintosh.
DeskTopMovie is a MultiSpeed QuickTime Movie player/converter.
DeskTopText is a multi-window, styled colored text editor that create text movie track.
ScreenMovie is a QuickTime monitor screen recorder. Can record MIDI and audio at the same time.
QuickMovie is a MIDI aware Quicktime movie Editor/Player.
Together you can do video subtitling on AV class Macintosh.
Add title/subtitle to your QuickTime Movie.
Make QuickTime scrolling text movie.
Play Text to Speech on text movie.
Record Video, Monitor screen, Audio and MIDI.
Add full screen background picture to your QT movie.

All Midi convert general MIDI files to QuickTime music movies.
For QuickTime 2.0 user interested in MIDI files:
• Batch processing: Drag and drop files or folder to the All Midi Icon for automatic convert.
• Identify Midi file by content: You can drop a Midi file with any file type/creator/extension. All Midi will convert Midi files base on its content, and ignore non-midi files. No need to change file type.
• Hold down option key before each convert to access the Rearranget MIDI instruments dialog.

FAQ
Q: How can I subtitle video?
A: To do subtitling:
1) Prepare your script in DeskTopText. Make a text movie subtitle track.
2) Connect your VCR/LD to the video in. Play something!
3) Run DeskTopTV, and chose white as transparent color.
4) Play the text movie in DeskTopMovie in front of DeskTopTV.
5) For recording, connect a TV monitor and VCR to the video out.
You can also subtitle a QuickTime movie by adding the text track to
any movie with the "Add Movie in parallel" function in DeskTopMovie.
Q: Trilogy in 5 parts?
A: Don't Panic! DesktopText/TV/Movie are the original 3. ScreenMovie is a spin off of DesktopTV, QuickMovie is the sequel to DesktopMovie. Part 6 code name "Dub" will be available in the near future...

You can register to all 5 parts of MovieTrilogy for one low shareware price!
If you are registered user of MovieTrilogy. You already register to DesktopTV.
MovieTrilogy is released as shareware. You are encouraged to make copies of MovieTrilogy and distribute to anybody through electronic services or on disks less than 2MB, provided you also copy the associated documentation. Distribution of MovieTrilogy on CD-ROM and all other high capacity (over 2MB) media is strictly prohibited.
You can try it out for 30 days. If you like it, The single user registration fee for international users is US$30.00. Canadian residents only pay Cdn$30.00 by cash or cheque. For $10 extra I will send you a disk with the latest version of MovieTrilogy. All register user will receive a small 'Key file' by email (or on disk) and update notice by email. The 'Key file' will enable you to have access to varies Register user only features. Registration confirmation will be given by email only unless explicitly requested.
